Birsay Disc Large Drop Earrings in Sterling Silver Product-R29 hand-finished in our workshop inThese sterling silver Birsay Disc Large Drop Earrings feature intertwining spirals in a design reminiscent of porpoise like figures swirling in the sea. The design is beautifully enhanced with an oxidised finish. The Birsay Disc collection was inspired by a small lead disc found on the Brough of Birsay in Orkney. The Brough, a small tidal island, supported a thriving metalworking industry from the 7th to the late 8th century. A rich array of brooches,
